DVD Case and Disc Graphic Design
We know how to produce artwork for how-to products.
The client needed a DVD cover and on-disc artwork created. We discussed vision and a stock image was selected. The rest of the design followed the colors in the image.
For the disc art, 3 spot colors were selected to match the 4-color process cover. The red and yellow gradient was separated and trapped manually, and black was used for shadowing. The white areas were left as blank, allowing the natural disc to show through.
