Book Cover Design and Photography

A racy project which served as both a learning experience and a bonding experience for those involved. I'm not being facetious!

To produce this, a model and photographer were hired and studio space acquired. We also brought in a book editor to handle the content of the pages inside.

For the cover, I purchased red silky material, red ropes, and patterned lace from the craft store to scan. The red material was draped and photographed for the background of the cover. The lace ran along the spine, and the rope was used for borders.
