Access-Controlled Meeting Repository

The client needed a way to share audio and slideshows from their annual meetings. These meetings discussed the future plans for the Payment Card Industry (PCI) hosted by the PCI Security Standards Council, jointly chaired by Visa, Mastercard, American Express, JCB, and Discover.

As part of ensuring that users cannot download the audio files, the audio was streamed through a custom Flash-based audio player we built that served the audio via temporary URLs assigned to the specific users.

For further security, access controls were put in place to log each access by a user.

Each user was provided a password through their email which allowed them to access the content.

This was part of a long-term project in which H.O.W.D.Y. Media was the first entity to add scripted code to the PCI website, which previously was static HTML.
